Vinterjazz: Tuvaband (NO) + support: Anna Soleil

Dreamlike Nordic Melancholy at Musikcaféen. Experience Norwegian artist Tuvaband, whose enchanting voice and dreamlike soundscape create a magical and soothing concert experience that brings the audience in a trance-like state.

Norwegian singer, songwriter, and producer Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser – better known as Tuvaband – invites you into a sonic landscape where time stands still and music is allowed to float freely. Her new album Seven Ways of Floating continues her unique ability to blend melancholy, hope, and beauty into a universe of airy vocals, lo-fi beats, and poetic sound textures.

Tuvaband has established herself as one of the most compelling artists in the Nordic scene, known for her uncompromising approach to music – writing, producing, and performing almost every instrument herself. Her work has been praised by international media such as Pitchfork, Wonderland, and Rolling Stone Germany, and her songs have been described as “vulnerable and powerful at once.”

If you appreciate artists like Agnes Obel, Bon Iver, or First Aid Kit, you’ll find yourself at home in Tuvaband’s magical world. Expect an evening where calm, presence, and ethereal beauty fill the room.

Support: Anna Soleil (NO)

Anna Soleil's debut album Until It's True moves between the childlike and the melancholic, where wonder and fear live side by side. Through a minimalist soundscape where flute, guitar, and piano sounds merge with MIDI sounds and hip hop-inspired drums, she explores how fear can cause us to rewrite our own history. Together with musician Imre Elzer, she creates an intimate and unfiltered live set.

Anna Soleil has received reviews from publications such as CLASH (UK), LOCK (UK) and GAFFA (Norway), and  highlighted by NME Magazine in their playlist(UK).
